| The 3rd National Citizens’ Convention Opened up with messages of inspiration, invocation and invitation. Citizens’ Manifesto Convener, Briggs Bomba’s opening remarks called to the citizens to recognise what time it is and acknowledge the period of grand transition that is ahead. Solidarity messages poured in from leaders and actors of both local and international civic society organisations to encourage this year’s theme “None but Ourselves: Reimagining the future we want after Covid-19” The Elders’ Chair , Mary Robinson shared a message of solidarity highlighting what is required to secure a just and stable future for the country : dialogue, solidarity, inclusivity, transparency and accountability. |
    The hybrid model adopted for this year has run successfully! Online processes and offline processes have been available where citizens have can participate from wherever they are.
